importing tourney results

I cant figure out how to import my tourney results I have to manually import all of them I keep reading about ppl importing them though. I have tried to import them through the hand importer screen but it just says improper file type. Any help would be great thanks.

Request them from the poker site (PokerStars or PartyPoker). The site will then email you. Copy the contents of this email and save it to a text (.txt) file. You can then manually import this text file via the Manual Import window.
