converting PT2 to PT3 database

I was just thinking that since PT2 database doesn't have alot of stats in PT3 eg) 3betting , wouldn't when you convert the DB to PT3 the stats be unreliable since it will have all these extra hands but won't have the 3betting data on it or does it not include these old hands into the formula?

PT3 re-imports all the hands from the original hand histories, so you will get the benefit of all the new stats for you old hands.

That is not entirely correct. It only re-imports the hands if you have the hand history saved in your PT2 database. In PT2, you have to be sure that the option box "Do not store hand history text" (or something to that effect) is unchecked.
