I would just like to be able to have a count of hands played. If I could tell PT what seat I am in at the beginning of a session, it seems like it would be doable and wouldn't be anything that Bodog would oppose (you can count your hands from their HH, but I'd rather not have to do that, obviously).

As stated earlier in this thread - we do not anticipate any further development for Bodog unless their stance changes. It just isn't practical to devote resources to partial workarounds in this kind of situation. Nothing that we can do will provide any meaningful data given the current state of the Bodog software.

I'm afraid we cannot even do that, the capability may not even exist even if we wanted to - Bodog has let us know in January that they intend to block any attempt to read their hand histories upon the release of this new client. We have reached a dead end.

The only unethical thing about this is that you guys are helping support a horrible company (Bodog) after they ruined poker. If you had any ethical bone in your guys body you would do the exact opposite of what Bodog wanted you to do and you would take pride in it.

You just gave a very convincing argument why we should not support Bodog, the way you presented your argument supporting Bodog would be unethical. Calvin Ayre, the founder of Bodog, has publicly said that the all-anonymus table model is a live experiment on the calvynayre.com website. If you dislike their decision to switch to anonymous tables then the best solution would be to withdraw your money and hope that the change fails. Vote with your wallet - just say no if you want Bodog to change.

i guess it is a lot easier for you guys not trying to patch the bodog software.

i mean the hours that would be have to put in....

all the less partying...

i would agree with bodog too so that way i wouldnt have to work either...

not like you have 1,000's of people depending on your work...

it is not like people paid for Poker Tracker just so they can use it on bodog...

i understand completely...

fixed yet?

still waiting...

"As it stands, terms and conditions at Bodog still do not prohibit personal poker trackers and, as McLoughlin pointed out, the update does not prevent an unscrupulous third-party developer from creating a session HUD."

It's technically possible for us to develop an AI to allow PokerTracker to play poker for you, but just because it's technically possible doesn't mean it's something we're going to do.

We are committed to respecting the sites we support. Not just the word of their TOS, but the spirit as well. Bodog has made it painfully obvious that they don't want you to play on their site. They've made it obvious they don't want our software to work with their site.

We are not avoiding the extra work involved in this. Far from it. There have been many times sites have made changes that we have put in overtime to support. However, we will respect Bodog's wishes in this.

The only options you have are to (a) continue playing on Bodog, essentially telling them that you're okay with their decision, or to (b) withdraw your funds and make it clear to them that their business decisions in this matter caused you to leave.

The only options we have as PT members are to (a) continue using PT on the very limited usa sites, essentially telling them that you're okay with PT decision, or to (b) withdraw your funds and make it clear to them that their business decisions in this matter caused you to leave PT.

wait can i still get a refund?

choice (c) get stiffed by PT.
