Some stats not in HUD?

There are a (at least) two stats which are in the 'Holdem Cash Player Statistics', but I can't find them in the HUD (Cash Game), why?

"position" : works for tabs and reports but I can't find it for the HUD
(I want to see the actual position for a player at a glance, it's easier for multi-tabling)

(2)
"player": if I just duplicate this stat (and rename e.g. "player2") then I can select it for tabs & reports but not for the HUD.
Same with "Player short name" from the repository: works for tabs & reports, but no way to select it for the HUD.
(I don't need "player2" ;) but "player short name" were fine for HUD)


Beta 20, new DB, housekeeping & updating cache done.
And: No, I don't want to update to Beta21 at the moment! :D

Is there a way to overwrite the protected stats?
I like to have smaller tab-widths

1. Position doesn't make sense on the HUD as it is not a single value.
When you add this to a report it splits the report into a row for each position.
I realise that this would be a useful thing to be able to add to the HUD, and I was just thinking about this yesterday and have sent a suggestion to the development team.

2. I don't understand that either, and again I've asked the dev team about it.

3. No, you can't overwrite protected stats - I think options to change column widths will be added at some point. Probably when you resize the columns in a report the change will be remembered automatically.
For now you would need to duplicate the stat and change the width in your copy.

Ok, I'll wait and see. :)

The regular tabs (like "General" or "Hands") don't remember automatically the resized columns.
But maybe reports will do, I'll test it.

3. This doesn't happen yet, but it is planned.
