Beta 23 deleted my layout.pt3

Postby Letissie » Fri Jan 09, 2009 2:07 am

After 8 hours of work on the HUD editing PT3 crashed and defaulted both the HUD layout for my client.

It seemed this happened after it updated the Cereus Network option.

I didn't had this net before. After the crash it magically appeared.

Makes me sick i have to start again...

Thank god i had my first layout release.

Upgrading to Beta 23 does not delete your layout. You need to install the Beta 23 upgrade in the same directory as you had Build 3 and your layout will still be there. If you installed Beta 23 elsewhere you need to copy Layouts.pt3 from the Build 3 Data directory to the Beta 23 Data directory.

Kraada it happened.

When PT3 save the layout.pt3 it default it for some second while rewriting. I got an error in that process and got layout defaulted.
It wasn't cause of beta 23.

That's the first I've heard of that happening to anybody.

Please enable logging (Configure --> Options --> Logging Enabled should be checked, then restart PT3) and if it happens again please send us the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log and the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTrackerHud.log files to the support system and we'll look into it from there.
