What was changed for Beta 24?

Hi,

I use MANY custom stats (about 150). At least one of them broke with the schema changes to beta 24. My HUD no longer functions because of it.

Can you tell me what changed?

Is there an easy way to find out what stat isn't working?

I think this will take a long time if I have to check them all manually.

There shouldn't be any changes to custom statistics that I'm aware of, but there are changes to the HUD queries, which might have caused what you're experiencing.

The easiest way to figure out what isn't working is to enable logging (Configure --> Options --> Logging Enabled and restart PT3) and import while playing for one full orbit then attach the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log and C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTrackerHud.log and C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\Data\Layouts.pt3 files zipped up to a support ticket. These logs tell us exactly what is going on when PT3 is working and should indicate what errors are occurring. The layout file will be useful for helping us pinpoint which stat is the problem in conjunction with the log, so that we can get this fixed quickly.

I figured it out.

I had custom stats where the column name started with a number, such as "3B_Early". In previous versions, this worked fine. PT3 would prefix these column names with an underscore in the background to handle this.

Beta 24 doesn't handle this properly anymore. Changing the column names to begin with a letter has fixed my problem.

Ah yes, I recall hearing about that change. I thought that was prior to Beta 23, but I could be mis-remembering.
