I'd like to know what files I need to copy from 1 install to another in order to duplicate the hud configuration . I'll be backing up what files I need, reinstalling windows on this HDD which im moving to a new pc.

Just to be certain, this is for PAHUD, not PT3, yes?
If so, you can export your HUD layout by clicking Options --> Layout Manager, then File --> Export. Export your layout, then import it on your new machine and you should be all set.
