PAH shuts down directly after start

Hello everybody,

today I set the autorate rules in PT back to default and run a autorate batch. After that, when I open PAH it closes after a few seconds. the log says:

2008/04/30 23:42:26.671: [DatabaseCache] Loading player list
2008/04/30 23:42:26.687: [DatabaseCache (Error)] Unknown exception

These are the last two entries.

I do not know if the two events are linked maybe they are maybe not.

I already tried to recreate the cache by deleting the db*.* files in \temp but the error stays the same.

Can somebody help?

Mike,

This is a known bug in the last two or three beta releases which only seems to happen for a handful of users.

You will need to disable the database cache until we are able to get this resolved. Options->Preferences->Databases, uncheck 'Use Database Cache'.

Hi Derek,

it was a bit difficult to be fast enough to uncheck the "use database" box
because PAH shutsdown quickly after start, but finally I managed to do so. :-))
