Pop Up Stats

I am currently running Poker Tracker v.2 and the most recently updated HUD which I actually just downloaded two days ago and I am having a very very hard time getting the popup stats to work. I have tried clicking on the players name, stats, holding down the left side of the mouse but nothing seems to work. I am playing on absolute poker too if that makes any difference. If someone could please help me that would be much appreciated. Thank your very much :D

Are you using Microsoft Vista? If so, try disabling 'User Account Control' and then reinstalling PokerAce Hud over-top of your existing installation. That should resolve the issue.

Download and install the latest beta version if you are not already using it...

Beta Release v1.19.6

Then in your PokerAce Hud Layout Manager, select 'Absolute Poker' and make sure that the table looks like your real table. If it does not, go Options->Use Absolute Top View Tables or Options->Use Absolute Quarter View Tables. The table should then look exactly like your real table which should resolve the issue.

I only wish that was what it is, but I have latest version and I already have quarter tables selected. I only get popup stats like one outta 15 players cause i multiple table at least 4 usually on abso and can never get the pop up stat when I need it!!!

Hmm, what video card do you have installed? nVidia? Are you using nView? Try disabling nView if you are using it...otherwise, I have run out of ideas and am not sure :(

No I do not have that video card. I believe this is something to do with the software since I can usually look up only one persons pop up stats at a table, but for some reason no one elses. Do you have any idea why this might be? Also why do I always have to go to layout before a session and change absolutes layout to quartertables in the drop-down menu when the day before I did the same thing and clicked save?

It sounds like you are experiencing Windows permission problems and the table preferences are not saving which is the reason the popup stats are not working since the seats are not aligned properly....

Go Start->Run, 'msconfig' OK. Under the 'Boot' tab, select 'Safe boot' and 'Network'. Apply->OK. Reboot your computer into Safe Mode.

In Safe Mode, completely uninstall PokerAce Hud and then reinstall.

Once reinstalled, boot back into normal mode by repeating the above steps but this time unchecking 'Safe boot'.

Modify your PokerAce Hud layout to use the correct Quarter Table view and save. It should save properly this time and hopefully resolve the popup issues that you are experiencing.
