PT2 import problem

Postby wmlonergan » Mon Jun 01, 2009 12:01 pm

I have PT2 and am trying to import hand histories sent to me by another player - it is csv file. I have PT2 and use access. I think the problem is that you need to be using postgresql rather than access, but maybe I'm wrong.

Is there a way to convert the csv file to one that will import to PT2 access (eg, text hh file)? Or is there a way to otherwise import the hand histories?

I'd rather not switch over to postgresql at this point in time.

CSV is a comma separated file extension type. The hand histories need to be in plain text, readable format for PT to be able to import them, regardless of what database type you use. Where did he gets these files from?

Not sure. He just said it was a Full Tilt 5/10 "Session" Is there another way to load into PT2 besides import?

You need to have the actual hand history files that are in plain, readable text to get the data into PT. There is no other way.
