poker tracker not responding

as soon as i go to import hand history files that are quite large (bigger than 1k) poker tracker goes straight into not responding mode why?

1K is not a large file. If the files contain more than say 1000 hands then you might consider using the Utilities > File Splitter window to split the file into smaller files and then import from those.
