Multiple Databases

Postby leftoverpink » Tue Jun 24, 2008 11:38 am

I'm sorry if this topic has been discussed too many times, but I couldn't find another thread that answered my question.
I've heard it's a good idea to have separate databases for your played and observed hands. Can I set PT to automatically put observed hands in one database and played in another?
If not, do I close one database and open the other every time I wanna datamine instead of play for example?

What site are you importing observed hands from?

Microgaming. That means if I switch database before I want to datamine, it's still going to import all hands to both databases. Or?

Yes, that's correct which means that before you start importing use the Reset DB's button on the auto-import window so just the new observed hands go into the db you want it to. Then before you start importing your own hands again into the other db, use the Reset DB's button again.
