Just purchased PT3, how do I get PT2?

Click the Enter Key button. The hardware fingerprint shown on the next window is the same thing as the product ID.

When you start PT2, don't you get a screen pops up telling you your trial is over and asking you to register?
There should be a product code on there, and a way of entering your key.

Still don't have this figured out yet. Please be more specific how I register PT2 if my Trial is over. In the above quote, where is "on there" for the product code? Once I figure out what to put in the PT2 Enter Key section in order to be able to open it, I then can use the link that I received via e-mail when I purchased PT3 to register for PT2, correct? If not, PLEASE clarify.

Click the Enter Key button. On the next window is a hardware fingerprint. That is the same thing as the product ID. Use that when requesting the code. When you get the email with the code, enter it into this same window leaving the name field blank to register PT2.

I am having problems with this too. I am getting the same message when I try to open the application. It asks for "Name" and "Key". I have tried to enter the code provided in my email without entering anything in the "Name" field (as instructed in this thread) but it doesn't work. What do I need to do to get this to run?
One note: you said that the fingerprint is the same as the product ID. The product ID I received in my email is different than the fingerprint I get when I try to open up PT2. Not sure if that is a problem or not.

Yeah, that would be a problem. Create a support ticket and send me the correct hardware fingerprint

Alright, STILL don't have this working. I sent you all an email to try and receive more help on how to unlock PT2. As the above poster stated the product ID I received is different than the fingerprint I get when I try to open up PT2. Therefore cannot get into PT2, and cannot do anything. Please help me out, can you send me a new PT2 registration somehow? Tell me where to send an email if I need to send one. Thanks for your help.
