With Poker Tracker closed, try repairing the database following the steps listed here:

The file is corrupted. If you haven't been bothering to make backups of your files then the only other option is to try to rebuild the database from the hand histories.

See the 4th thread of this post for directions on how to do this:

Ok I tried to download the self extracting zip file but its corrupt. It says "win zip self extractor header corrupt.possible cause: bad disk or file transfer"

If my other option is to just start a new database, how do i do this and delete what i have in a safe way!!!

It downloaded fine for me. Right-click on that link to the EXE file and select "Save As" or "Save Target" as to save the file to your hard drive and then try to run it then. If that doesn't work, try using a different browser to download the file, it's fine.

ok i got it working and was following the instructions step by step until step 6, it says to open PT go to file/auto import hand historys/tournie summaries...set up window. But when i go to do this on PT i dont get the "look for files on my PC" option, i get a "select files" option which doesnt let me import many hands at all.

Please advise....Thanks pat

You need to go to the File > Auto-Import Hand Histories > Generic Setup window.

Hi pat, so i think im nearly finished all the steps here. Im at the "stop timer, force import" part.in the window it says..

" Import finished - 1,573 files read 373,560 new hands were imported
starting import 1573 files found
user manually triggered import 09/11/2008 03:14:30 PM
Timer stopped .. 09/11/2008 03:14:18PM
Timer started .. 09/11/2008 03:14:12PM"

Do i get notified when its complete?? its 18 hours or so since it started

The status section will update when it's done. It should be able to import 30,000 hands/hr.
