Ongame hands don't import properly (wrong limit)

Postby PascalT » Sat Aug 23, 2008 12:50 pm

I just played some 200nl HU and when I checked the hands after it imported them as 100nl HU. This is on Tower, and it's the first time it ever does this.

this is one of the HHs (ongame always has the wrong limit in their headers):

Texas Hold'em $2-$4 NL (real money), hand #P4-74868592-3
Table Luettich, 23 Aug 2008 4:41 PM ET

Seat 3: MeowMeowMix [ KC,2C ] ($200.00 in chips)
Seat 8: BenjoDiMeo ($200.00 in chips)
ANTES/BLINDS
MeowMeowMix posts blind ($1), BenjoDiMeo posts blind ($2).

PRE-FLOP
MeowMeowMix bets $5, BenjoDiMeo folds.

SHOWDOWN
MeowMeowMix wins $8.

SUMMARY
Dealer: MeowMeowMix
Pot: $8
MeowMeowMix bets $6, collects $8, net $2
BenjoDiMeo loses $2

This hand import as "NL ($2)" for me as it should based on the big blind.

You are saying it imports as "NL $100" for you?? What is the exact level description you are getting.

It imports as 1/2 as well in HEM, which makes this weirder. I have no filters on or anything..

It reads the hand as "NL ($1) (1-on-1)"

Is it possible you have some other hands from this same table "Luettich" where it was a different level being played on that table? I've seen where Ongame could have 2 tables with the same name and different levels on each.

There is no real way to change then when you import in real time because PT is checking the table name and seat # to determine what constitutes a session, not the game level because this is the only site that allows such a thing.

Basically to fix this you would have to go to the Session Notes tab and double-click on the session in question. Then go to the Game Notes tab, click the Get All button and then use the Export button to export all of these hands to a text file.

Then manually go through that file and separate on the NL $2 hands into another file and use the global search/replace to change the table name, maybe add an "_2" at the end of the name.

Then use the Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options window to purge this session and then reimport the 2 files you have, one with the NL $1 hands and one with the NL $2 hands using the File > Import Hand Histories/Tournament Summaries window, Select Files To Import button.
