Import Processed Hands from old PT folder?

I haven't used PT in months, but I'm looking to set things back up again. When I started the program, for whatever reason, it required me to reinstall/reregister. I copied my old PT folder to my desktop and then reinstalled over the old directory. I have all my old processed hands, but I'm unsure of how I import all those .txt files into a new database.

Probably an easy question, but I haven't touched PT in a long time and my mind is fuzzy. Could anyone help?

You can use the File > Auto-Import... > Generic Setup window to point to the folder where your processed files resides and then have PT import them. However, you old db files should still be on the computer unless you uninstalled PT. Check the folder you backed up for the files listed here

If you find them, WITH PT CLOSED, copy those files to the newly installed PT folder and then you'll have your data back without having to reimport everything.

It looks like all my old databases are still there (handful of MDB files will old "Date Modified" dates) and the files in the old PT folder and the new folder match. I assume when I reinstalled over the old folder (not the one I copied to my desktop) it left all the databases intact. Only problem is nothing is showing up in the "Maintain Database names" beside the DB I created today.

Is there something special I need to do for PT to recognize them?

You need to click the Add button and then enter a description and in the last field select "Browse to find existing Access database" and select the appropriate database. The only ones you should select are those like ptrack2.mdb, ptrack3.mdb. Do not select the hhdb.mdb file or any that have _backup or _repair in the file name.
