database error

Im getting a window popping up saying that a database error has occurred. It goes on to say "DBCode:-1022error text :sqlstate=s1000 {microsoft}{odbc microsoft access driver} disk or network error

No changes to database

insert into player winningsdate,played Etc.

I used the utilities /repair database tool already but this has not worked

It means the database file is corrupted. If the repair doesn't work then you would need to revert to a backup provided you have been doing this. When did you backup this database last before the errors started?

i havent been backing up this database,does this mean that the hand history folder is corrupted? should i be deleting this now, how do i go about setting up a new folder?

It doesn't have anything to do with the hand histories, it's the database file.

Open the File > Maintain Database Names window.
Double-click on the name field for the entry that is giving this error.
What is the file name and size of the file that shows in the window that opens.

file name is c:\program files\poker tracker v2\ptrack.mdb File size: 1,096,520KB

Look for a file called ptrack_backup.mdb in the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder. If you find it, what is the date/time on it?

The date /time on this file is 09/08/2008 8:32PM

With PT closed, rename the ptrack.mdb file to ptrack_bad.mdb and then rename the backup file to ptrack.mdb and see if you can import again.

Ok i renamed both these files and rebooted the PC. Now when i open PT and immediate window pops up "repair database" Database c:\program files\poker tracker v2\ptrack.mdb needs to be repaired.

What should i do now??
