Error: Table closed before complete hand history was written

I keep getting the error, 'Table closed before complete hand history was written'. I think it might be when a sidepot is involved. Any ideas?

No, it means you are closing a table before the hand you were in was over. When you want to leave the table, click the Sit Out box and then wait for the next hand to start dealing before you close the table window.

I'm getting this error on hands where I stayed at the table long after the hand was finished. On one hand I realised, while still at the table, that the error had occured, so saved the HH file from the table. I notice that in this hand another player did leave the table though.

If the file you saved manually is complete and the but you still get the error, contact the poker site and ask then why the hand isn't automatically written in its complete form when you sit out.
