Both hand histories look normal except for the following inserted somewhere in the hand:

I think it might have something to do with late registration, since in both cases the player sat with 1500 (starting chip stack), 6-10 min after the start of the tourney...

There should be no blank lines anywhere in the body of the hand history. If you remove the blank line the hand will import.
