Hi all, i need to convert an old pt2 db into postgres.

According to the old forum,

After you install 8.3 there is another window that opens called the application stack builder. If you have closed this window, you can open it again using the Start menu > Programs > PostgreSQL 8.3 > Application Stack Builder.

When i go start-programs-postgres, all i get is config files, documentations ,ommand prompt ,pgadmin III, psql to postgres, reload config and start/stop service

I think i need the stack builder to have something in the ODBC entry to use under the postgresql settings

Any help out there? I have nfi what to do!

Did you install PostgreSQL 8.3 or did you let PT3 install it?

If you mean you let PT3 install it then you can do one of 2 things - uninstall PostgreSQL and reinstall it manually or just reinstall PostgreSQL 8.2 - see my 2 posts on the first page of this forum thread where I give links and more details...
