Did you delete the file? Look in the recycle bin for it. If it's not there, go to the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder. Is there a file called hhcopy.mdb there? If so, rename it to hhdb.mdb and try it again.

Either you renamed it wrong, or you are using Vista and not running the program as administrator like you need to be. Are you using Vista? If so, see this FAQ... viewtopic.php?f=30&t=1378

Does Vista prompt you to cancel/allow PT to run? It should.
Right-click on the PT desktop icon and select "run as administrator" from the popup menu. Do you still get the same error?

Vista prompts me to load the program.

1st error is the box ODBC Microsoft Acess Driver Login failed. Inside of the error box its says Could not find c:\programfiles\pokertrackerv2\hhdb.mdb

You hit ok on this box and it come up with a login screen here is a pic.

Right-click on the link below...
http://www.pokertracker3.com/products/P ... s/hhdb.mdb

select "Save As" or "Save Target As". When prompted, navigate to the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder and tell it to save there. Does it prompt you that it will overwrite an existing file of the same name? If so THEN DO NOT allow it to do this. If it doesn't, if it just puts the file there then you did not rename the backup file correctly, it must have some other name. Show me a screen print of the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder so I can see the list of files.

It did not ask to overwrite the file.

You need to turn on file extensions because you probably named the file hhdb.mdb.mdb with 2 files extensions.

On Vista, you have to do that following the directions here...
http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/1269/vis ... extensions

Now, do you see a file called hhdb.mdb.mdb ? If so, rename the current hhdb.mdb file to hhdb.old - rename the hhdb.mdb.mdb file to just hhdb.mdb and then try PT again.

TO RENAME A FILE, just right-click on it and select "rename" from the popup menu.
