PT2 says it has changed regional settings but doesn't

I'm runnig 2.17.02 under Windows Vista English with Swedish regional settings.

When I start PT and go to the Control Panel it says that Windows settings are Swedish. But when I look in PT it says it's set to English.

The reason I started digging in to this is because when importing PS hands I get loads of errors complaining of missing turns and rivers (when the hands was folded before them).

Any help is appreciated.

This patch will fix the PokerStars errors:

Maybe you aren't running PT as administrator and that is why the settings aren't changing:

Ok, will try the patch.

Yes, I'm running as Administrator. But if there is a patch then it probably wasn't the regional settings that was the problem.

*Edit*

yeah, patch did it, will disregard the regional since it works...

Hi,

I'm runnig 2.17.02 under Windows Vista English with Finnish regional settings.

When I start PT and go to the Control Panel it says that Windows settings are Finnish. But when I look in PT it says it's set to English and when I trying to import hand histories the money counts does not match.

I am running PT as a administrator, so the common solution does not work. Is there any help for me?

What do you mean the money count doesn't match? Are you saying that hands are missing?? If so, did you install the patch, 2.17.02a, that was linked above?

Hi,

I mean that e.g. 30 dollar pot is shown as 3000 dollar pot, so PT does not recognize decimal delimiter since regional settings are incorrect and program is not able to change those anymore for some reason.

Does Vista prompt you to cancel/allow PT to run each time you try to start it? It should be, if it's not then PT isn't being run as administrator.

I have disabled user account control, but I temporary enabled it and PT asked that cancel/allow, but still regional setting remains same.

You'll have to manually change the regional settings to English/US using the Start > Control Panel > Regional And Language Options window before starting PT.
