PT freezing up

Everytime I try to run PT on full tilt i'm having problems , the PT software starts to freeze up. When i try to run the auto import hand history tool i keep getting prompts saying "import is already running cannot import now" Then it will import hands but only after about 20 mins. Also when i move the cursor anywhere over the software im getting an egg timer, The whole thing freezes....thanks in advance
