PT can´t import any hands anymore - Error - Database full?

hi,

i used PT2 since months - all worked fine..no i got about 120.000 hands in my database and since yesterday i receive a popup when i click on "auto import" at stars...by the way: i use an access database.

here you can find a picture of the error mail:

I tried the following hint:

"What you should do is, WITH PT CLOSED, rename the current hhdb.mdb file to hhdb_old.mdb and then download this new file in it's place: http://www.pokertracker.com/hhdb.mdb - These files would be in your c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder if you used the default folder during install.

Go to the Utilities/Database Maintenance and Options window. Click on the Hand History DB's tab at the end of the window. Click on the "Add File" button and point it to the hhdb_old.mdb file you just renamed.

What this will do is allow you to import new hands into the current file but also replay old hands that are in the hhdb_old.mdb file."


But The problem and the error message aren´t solved !

what else can i do?

I still need all my data for my poker ace hud so reinstalling pt2 again is no solution for me?

hello,

i tried to repair my database as you told me but after a while PT says my there where problems caused by another program using PT database at the moment to. But: i didn´t hat ace hud or sth else open?

what to do next?

Restart the computer and try the repair again as soon as it comes back up.

i can´t repair my atabase because pt tells me another programm uses the database too...but i don´t got any other programm open (ace hud f.e.).

i tried to repair twice but the error message stays and the problem and pt don´t import any further hands`????

Open the File > Maintain Database Names window. Double-click on the name of the db you are getting errors with. What is the file size and name shown there?

What email was used to purchase PT2? I have no record of this one used for the forum.

first: i received this PT version from pokerstrategy.de and use another email there ( if you need that email i´ll send it to you).

the nam of the database is:

F:\Pokerprogramme\Poker Tracker V2\ptrack.mdb

File Size:

2,147,389 KB

?

Your database is full. You will need to create another one or convert to PostgreSQL like it said in the thread the link Pat gave you in his first response.

thx for your fast answers. I created a new database and importing still works fine again. But: even if i got booth databases open (the ol one and the new one) ace hud didn´t show my any new stats (i see only the old stats from hands from players of my old database)?

and: isn´t there any chance to add booth databases to each other to see all my data at one time (all my hand i ever played?)

do you got any idea how i can solve that problem?

You have to tell PAHUD about this other database...

You won't be able to view all of your stats together in PT2 unless you convert to a PostgreSQL database and keep all the stats in one database.
