PokerStars Tourney Summaries Don't Move To Processed Folder

I'm using the PokerStars hand importer in PT2 ('forced' import), and it's moving hand history files over to the processed folder just fine, but it doesn't move the tournament summaries to this folder. It appears that it reads and imports the summaries, it just doesn't move them to the processed folder when it's done.

Any idea what might be going on here or how I could go about fixing it? I've never had a problem with this feature in the past.

Are all of the summaries from Texas Hold'em tournaments?

The PokerStars auto-import window in PT2 has never moved tournament summary files to the processed folder. You have to request the summaries via email, they aren't stored on the hard drive like the hand histories are. If you somehow have summary files stored in your hand history folder then you will have to manually move these files to where you want them to go.

True, but what if you've imported them through email, they get saved in the 'imported hands and summaries' folder, and then eventually you have a DB crash and have to re-import everything from the saved files. Since the HH already move to this folder, would it really be that hard to have it move the summaries as well?

If you import them via email then there is an option to save the emails as text files to your hard drive, all you need to do is have them be saved in the same folder that your processed hand history files are being moved to. I'm not making anymore changes to PT2.

Since your post says exactly what I said in the first sentence of my last post, I can only assume you didn't actually read my post.

My question was about having to RE-import the summaries after a db crash, not the initial import.

It's just surprising that such a simple thing as moving summaries along with hand histories wasn't implemented in the first place.

I read your post. What I said was that if you are importing the tournament summaries via email, using the POP3 or Check Email options of the Import Hand Histories/Tournament Summaries window, then it offers you a chance to save the text of these emails to files on your hard drive does it not? All you have to do is tell it to save those to the processed files folder, the same place your processed hand histories go. Now if you ever have to REIMPORT your data, the summary files are in the same place the processed hands history files are so everything is easy to find.

What am I not understanding about your issue?

EDIT: OK, maybe you are talking about reimporting everything by copying all the files back to the hand history folder and using the Force Import button of the auto-import window. If that's the case then you don't do it this way. All you would do is click the Hand History Folder Location button, point it to the processed hand history folder (where the summaries also are) and force import. Then when it's done, you click that button again and change it back to point to the PokerStars hand history folder. No need for copying files back and forth.
