unable to changed database where imported hands go

Postby pto432 » Fri Sep 19, 2008 9:49 am

Hi,

I'm testing out PTO and so far I like it, but I ran into a problem. I've setup auto-import to work with Full Tilt and configurd observed hands to be imported. That works fine. BUT, now I want to change the database where the imported hands go. In the documentation it says to click on the 3-dots/elipses after the database name and select a different database, but in my window, there are no dots!! I've tried everything but I can't see or click on any area where I can change the database.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Click the Observed Hands tab on the auto-import window first.

Yes, I did click on the observed hands tab, and that is where I see the issue...

I discovered that if I create a new database and configure auto-import (for the first time for that database), then click on the observed hands tab, then I CAN select whatever database I want to import hands into.

However, if I open an existing database and open auto-import (where I have ALREADY configured auto-import and observed hands for a particular database in the past), it is not possible to change the database where hands are imported into. It seems that after auto-import / observed hands is configured, the DB chosen cannot be changed.

I hope that is clear. Thanks.

I understand the problem now. I just noticed you said are using the evaluation version. Until you register you won't be able set up more than one database so you will only be able to import observed hands into the main database.

However this makes me wonder how you were able to do this???:
I discovered that if I create a new database and configure auto-import...
