PTO hangs when autorating

my PTO very often hangs when tries to autorate players.
my hh db is small - around 20k hands. Sometimes it autorates all players for several minutes. But sometimes it just hangs on some player and stays without responding for over an hour until I restart the PC.
what can be the problem?

Make sure you are not auto-rating yourself. You can turn that off on the General Info tab in the top data area after selecting your player name on the left.

I turned it off but the problem remains. Other suggestions?

Do you have another player name (you on another site maybe?) that has a lot of hands? If so disable auto-rating for that name as well. If not, try repairing the database using the option for this on the Utilities menu.
