+1. I use holdemresources.net a lot, so functionality from that or ICMizer would be great in PT4.

Also, i'm sure you have had this request many times at some point, but customizable ranges such as the ones used on ICMIZER would literally make this the nuts.

You can add custom ICM ranges via the PT4 menu Configure > ICM Opponent Models.

What PT4 is missing currently and which will mean I'll keep on using SNGWiz, is the graphing feature of SNGWiz. This allows you to visualize your EV for all possible ranges.
E.g. SB vs BB, and villain pushes. PT4 allows you to give villain a range and then you can see your EV of calling vs folding. But in SNGWiz, you can actually see a graph with the shove range in the X axis and the EV in the Y axis. So you then immediately see how wide (or narrow) villain has to shove for your call to be + or - EV.

yeah but they are still static ranges. I'm talking about having fully editable ranges like ICMIZER uses. So instead of changing a model for a specific situation and then changing it again. I can just customize ranges like i would in ICMIZER

Thanks for all the feedback in this thread.

There are many more comprehensive ICM features on the drawing board, including push range, graphing, more flexibility in editing, better output display. These would be at the top of the list.

For the initial release we decided to focus on the basic most important features and the Quiz. As with PT3, you'll see more features arrive as demand exists and time permits. As the project grows we hope to eventually have the opponent model editor work in conjunction with the database to create one-click models based on stats of real players.

We also want to be certain that there are no problems with the existing framework. Currently, the interaction between the ICM system and the custom hand ranges, custom opponent models and custom tournament structures offer input flexibility that other programs don't offer. It will require an advanced user to really benefit from these features.

There are some very good stand-alone ICM programs out there - many of them are more expensive than PT and offer nothing else. We expect to be competitive with the best of them and offer some features that they will not be able to match.

Please include the new algorithm to calculate ICM for large tournaments.
