SH, UTG and MP

Hi.

I've noticed a problem. In 6-max game on tab "By position" in UTG shows that I played more hands than in MP. When I set up filter "Number of players" on 5 players, position MP disappears and all hands that I played record to UTG that is obvious mistake. I've never faced this problem in PT3. Please advice.

I've purchased PT in 2008, can I get free update to 4 version?

It looks like that stat is causing data to be displayed relative to the table size so UTG is the first to act regardless of number of players - which will combine first to act 4 handed and 5 handed etc. I'll talk to the development team about this and make sure this is the intended behavior.

The free upgrade offer is only for users who purchased PokerTracker 3 since June of 2011, so I'm afraid you will not qualify, but I have been assured that the upgrade pricing will be very reasonable.

I do not have this problem. In 6-max UTG is a third position, MP 2nd position. If you play 5 players, then there is no position UTG.

Right I think that the grouping is not taking that into account - but I agree it should be. I'm going to investigate further and initiate the appropriate internal discussion on this one.

In PT4 (for 6max) a breakdown of the position taken is much better than PT3. Please do not have to change anything in PT4 for 6max. :)

It shouldn't be - I discussed this at length with one of our developers today. We do need to fix some issues relating to exactly how positions are named when there's no small blind, and we are going to work to make certain that everything should group as it does in PT3, we just need to figure out exactly how to get the naming to show up in a sensible fashion. We'll be working on this and I expect it will be fixed for our next release.
