Select Multiple rows in custom reprots

Postby Ninja666 » Thu Mar 07, 2013 4:27 am

Hello,
Right now in any other report you can select multiple rows. THat will make does line blue and you will be able visually see what you want better.

In custom report you can select just one row. I would like to select multiple rows there.

Thnx

You can only select multiple rows in Hand reports, not Player reports as there are no operations which can be applied to multiple players.

So if no operation is applied so why to select even one row then ? ;)

But by selecting multiple rows u can at least select group of interesting rows.

For example BTNs, or RFIs, or Suited connectors or visualize any other group in that way.

If you just want to change the background row color to make it easier to read you can do that via the blue Advanced link by putting in an rgb() call as explained in that window. That will change the background color of all rows in the report.

No, lets say that I have result dataset of 150 rows. Now I want to select 20 rows here and there and just quickly compare. After that analysis is done then maybe I want to select 33 other rows and do similar things. IT is virtual filtering on the same report. Like pen on paper report. Just marking (selecting) rows.

Is there a reason you don't want to use actual filters? If you use real filters the Summary Row will also update and give you summarized results for your totals in the available rows.

Yes. I work on quite big amounts of data and it takes some time to generate. Also when there is report I want to Compare some part of player tendencies with entire group tendencies. I could define group on the fly and if my group definition is not accurate I can spot that by just looking at other criterias.

have you never done any statistical analysis before ? :|

I have done plenty of statistical analysis, and using our reports system. I just have never personally found being able to highlight multiple rows to be a key ingredient in being able to read a report, so I am trying to understand your mindset here.
