How can I get Windows-PT4 to use my Mac-PT4 database? I’d rather not backup/restore every time I need to switch systems but need a current database. Thanks.

The short answer is that you network the database -- see
this tutorial for the details.

I’m editing the host pg_hba.conf via pgAdmin..what goes in the IP field?
VM:
host:
Then just connect to the host server from WinPT4 w/ the std credentials—i.e. 5432, dbpass etc?

172.16.49.0/24
And then yes you should be able to connect with your standard credentials (or you can set it to trust and not worry about the password), just remember to use the IP address for the Mac host in the server box (172.16.49.1).
