got a Macbook Air for Xmas. Oh Joy!! It took an act of God to get PT4 installed (me) then I had trouble connecting bluetooth on my Bose wave radio - (nice to stream itunes through, ya know?)
Well, the 'geniuses' at Apple decided to fix that bluetooth problem by reinstalling OS X Yosemite OVER my PT4 (which utterly stopped it from running). Now, in spite of spending my entire day with Mike trying to fix the problem, I have to schedule a remote session to fix PT4 PLUS I have to go back into the store, bring my Wave Radio bluetooth adaptor (to find out why it doesn't work with air). They say it works just fine with THEIR speakers....must be a Bose problem. Bose says it's an Apple problem. In fact Bose says it gets complaints all day long about their bluetooth adaptor from Mac owners.
Oh, and Apple is freaking out - "WHAT IS POSTGRESQL? Why is it a User Name"? So I lead them to google to get them to understand. I swear I wish I didn't keep this machine. I should have read this forum, declined the nice gift and bought a PC.
One good thing, I finally got Java SE 6 to fix so I can play on Carbon, yay. My patience is gone.
